“One aspect of Luberon Experience I particularly enjoyed was that we often had opportunity to participate in one of France’s favorite pastimes: la flânerie. Here, in Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt we toured a bit, learned about the town and its World War II Résistance history, bought bright scarves and linens and yummy nougat at the marché, and then relaxed in a café to casually chat with each other and leisurely watch people such as these two flâneurs. This café is also where Charley taught me how to order coffee I will like: “café allongé noir.””
