“Under the Bell Tower — Our day on the Penwith Peninsula included a visit to the centuries old parish church of Zennor, St Senara. My photo shows two of the six bell pulls used by the bell ringers to make the church bells ring out. On the wall we see plaques listing the bell ringers in attendance and details of their performance on two special church occasions. Being in that room under the bell tower was particularly meaningful to me because my father rang bells in his parish church in England before emigrating to Canada.”
