“Food, food and more food. The trip in the Dordogne was amazing = lovely towns, prehistoric remains to be explored, gardens filled the gorgeous flowers and manicured hedges, markets overflowing with French goodies. The cave paintings took my breath away, those little ponies.

But it was the food – foie gras, duck, duck confit and the breads. Food, food and more food. The wines were wonderful, full of the taste of sunshine. But the luncheons were what I keep wanting more of … the composed salads full of the freshest greens tomatoes and flavorful fish. “
